Hi Fat,
I had to look this up, but in Indian tradition, the color red signifies purity, joy and celebration, all of which is in this picture. And it makes one want to investigate further to know what is happening. This moment in the young woman's life on the verge of a new chapter is a great capture. I may have cropped a little more off the bottom removing that persons arm and use a burn brush to lower some of the highlighted areas on her nose and his arm.
Great capture.

Hi Tim,
I really liked this capture. I think it is the simplicity of the door with a person. Rebecca is the subject - a historical figure, and the door is a wonderful background - with it's iron nails and hinges. I liked the treatment you applied as it gave it a vintage look. Nicely cropped. It fulfills the travel subject matter for sure! |
