72 May 21 Reply Randy, it was early morning and the sun was not up yet. I did try to reduce the blue, but it messed with the other colors too much. I also agree with Isaac's crop. Here is another shot. May 10th
72 May 21 Comment Isaac, what a fantastic opportunity to capture a unique scene. Shooting on snow is difficult from lighting to color bleed, but you seem to have gotten most of that under control. Did you try any filters in PP to help with that? The eagle did a nice pose even if it was a dummy prey. Good composition and execution. Well done. May 9th
72 May 21 Comment Adrian, this is a beautiful bird caught in a wet moment. The colors are well done and the PP done is just enough. I do agree with Bruce that the water drops detract from overall shot. Good job bypassing the netting. May 9th
72 May 21 Comment Marie, a wonderful image for sure. I have these guys in my area also, but have not captured a shot like this. I like Isaac's crop better also. The vulture is sharp and the PP you did really brought out the highlights. DeNoise is fantastic for shots like this to bring out the detail and lower the noise. Well done! May 9th
72 May 21 Comment Randy, it is indeed very difficult to get this kind of shot and takes lots of practice. I agree with Bruce in that the background is too distracting to really focus on the egret. Still it is a good capture of this type motion, just not my cup of tea. May 9th
72 May 21 Comment Bruce, this is a great capture of one of the most unique creatures. DOF is excellent, and the one eye is in sharp focus. Did you try to clone out the bubble, or did it not work well? Well done. May 9th
72 May 21 Reply Isaac, Thank you for the comments and the crop. In general, I do not like a square crop, so it didn't even cross my mind, but here it works perfectly to help isolate the flower and take it to the next level. May 9th
