Adrian, I agree with Isaac on this one. I understand your desired effect and the second image you posted shows that beautifully. I think a different composition would have been better although probably not achievable. The joy of shooting in raw format is you can correct ISO after the shot :). |

Isaac, You have really improved the image with the crop and vignette. I didn't play much when doing the original crop, must be my chemo brain kicking in! Thanks. |

Isaac, your crop and the PP really make this image. You were able to get a lot of detail on the fur. The toning down of the harsh sunlight also brought a lot to the shot. Well done! |

Marie, another outstanding landscape. I like the crop and the PP. The contrast of the greens is striking, and the light color splash in the clouds really adds to the effect. Well done! |

Mary, I'm with Randy on this one. I have three different HDR software programs, and they all do a great job of blending images together. In this case, the sky is over exposed at the bottom. I would take one of the originals and reduce the exposure to bring the blue back to the sky then reblend them using hand or HDR software. I also like the close up grass. It is the best way to show the depth on landscape shots. Well done with all of the hand blending! |

Randy, I like this shot a lot. I do agree with Bruce that the bright background detracts a little. If you have the Topaz tools, I would run AI clear and DeNoise to see if you could get some additional sharpness and lower the color noise on the feathers. I wish I had the patience and lenses to do this kind of photography. Well done. |

Bruce, the eyes are killer on this shot. They look golden and really command your attention. The only thing I might try to do is clone out the grass from his mouth. Great shot! |

To all, thanks for the comments. Bruce, this is indeed the feeding station outside of Naches. I didn't really take note of the big rock, but now that you point it out, I would remove it also. Mary the texture and detail came from Topaz AI Clear. Randy, I agree on the crop. My only excuse is that this was early on while learning composition. I will try a portrait crop and post it soon. |
