72 Aug 20 Reply Marie, thank you. Drones can another dimension to photography, and they are fun to fly! I have enjoyed using it where I can, they have become restricted in all of the National parks which is where I would liked to shoot. Aug 5th
72 Aug 20 Reply Thank you Mary. The drone has a setting called Tripod mode which dampens the controls allowing great control and it shoots in raw format which allows full PP. Aug 5th
72 Aug 20 Reply Isaac, I am having a lot of fun with the drone. The Mavic Pro II has a great lens, and in tripod mode is very stable. I like the adjustments you made as they add color and detail, and highlight the sun rays. Thanks Aug 5th
72 Aug 20 Comment Randy, welcome to the group! I don't have as much patience as you do when it comes to animal shots, so great job getting three of them looking at you. I ran this thru Topaz Denoise to clear up some of the graininess. As you didn't upload the raw file I can't comment on the PP. The Tetons are on my list for sure! Aug 5th
72 Aug 20 Comment Isaac, another great bird shot! I may have to get me a long lens and give birding a try. I also like the water rippling effect as it adds visual impact and the reflection of the wings is excellent. Your PP just right for this image. Well done! Aug 5th
72 Aug 20 Comment Adrian, That is so cool that you can just walk to it Most of the waterfalls in my area make you hike to get a shot. I like the composition as it leads the eye to the top of the falls. I too fight with water color issues, and most of the time, I do a hue adjustment to get rid of unwanted color, and then just mask out the waterfall area till I get the way I want. Good luck on your entry! Aug 5th
72 Aug 20 Comment Marie, I really like this shot. I have not had much luck shooting birds as I do not have a long telephoto lens. Your cropping brought out the detail and the back ground is perfect. I too am amazed you were able to get such a clear shot with those camera settings, but if it works, use it! Well done. Aug 5th
72 Aug 20 Comment Mary, what a great capture! I have often considered trying scuba, but my health prevents me.I agree with Isaac, that the back part of the grouper is a little soft and that a little more depth of field would have a better outcome. Excellent. Aug 5th
