72 May 20 Comment Isaac, I am always in awe of bird shots. I do not have the patience to wait for the money shot as you did here. The eye is sharp as are the wing feathers, and the splashing of the water around the fish shows the motion well. Your PP is well done, and the color correction adds to the overall image. I might have tried a targeted hue adjustment to lower the yellow saturation of the water around the fish, but that would be a personal choice. A great catch indeed! May 10th
72 May 20 Comment Adrian, I remember my time there. It is indeed a magical place. The colors are impressive as are the formations themselves and the trail down into the valley is a great hike. I think the PP you did is a little over saturated and bright as Isaac said. I would back off the level and see if that produces a more natural effect. May 10th
72 May 20 Comment Marie, the Dolomites are fantastic for beautiful landscapes and this is a good example. The building grabs the eye and leads to the right and far distance. The clouds add mystery revealing only some of the mountain. Your PP is spot on. Well done! May 10th
72 May 20 Comment Mary, I like this image, and keeping the blue is a personal decision. I think it works well here. The play of light and shadow adds mystery. The trees in the steam on the left adds balance. May 10th
72 May 20 Comment Abhijeet, as Isaac said, the timing was spot on. This is impressive given you took this handheld. I also liked his cropping as it brought back more of the reflection and places the egret at the center of focus. The only other thing I might have done would be to darken the rest of the image to bring out the Egret. Well done. May 10th
72 May 20 Comment Bruce, I admire bird photos and this is a good one. The soft background is fantastic and the chickadee is sharp with good color. I like the tail feathers blurred as they blend with the background. I agree with Isaac that the head is a little dark and needed some level adjustment. Great shot! May 10th
