72 Feb 20 Comment What great timing! The look of determination on the monkeys face juxtaposed to the dog's is fantastic. The hat blowing in the wind is the final touch showing the speed of the dog. Great PP along with the little crop adds to the overall image. Well done! Feb 24th
72 Feb 20 Comment I agree, patience is rewarded with a great image. I like the triangle formed from the left to right by the size of the giraffes, it leads the eye right where the adult is looking. Good crop that gets rid of some of the distracting water. PP is just enough. Well done. Feb 24th
72 Feb 20 Comment Marie, that is indeed a good shot at such a low speed. I also think the vignette is a little to much given the darkness of the rest of the image. The seed is a personal choice, and I tend to remove objects like that myself. I like Isaac's crop also. Good job. Feb 24th
72 Feb 20 Comment Mary, well done! I always love a lake shot framed by mountains. Everything works here: composition, clarity, color and post processing. Oh for calm wind and a glass reflection. Feb 24th
72 Feb 20 Comment Abhijeet, I agree that the image is soft on focus, and the grass is a little too green. I ran your image thru Topaz Clarity and sharpen, and was able to help with the focus. I did not do any other edits. This is still a good shot, but a classic case of needing a tripod and or a higher ISO. The D750 can take great shots all the way up to 6000. Feb 24th
72 Feb 20 Comment Bruce, the cropping and the low angle really add to this image. It almost looks like your camera is in the water. It is sharp, and the background bokeh is just right to not distract from the Merganzer. Well done! Feb 24th
