Issac, I too am impressed with birders as I have very little patience to wait for the right moment as you did with this shot. For being hand held, this is sharp and in focus. The colors are bright and the background is a great contrast to the family of spoon bills. I like the mom (dad?) looking right at the camera. Nicely done. |

Adrian, you did a great job of capturing this with the higher speed and being hand held. I would not have ready. The post processing brings out the detail and the lighting adds to the overall image. I also liked the little bit of cropping to remove some of the elephants on the left. Well done. |

Marie, I like this image and the feeling it evokes. Watch that step out of the front door! Your post processing brought out the colors of the boat and the texture of the brick walls. The perspective correction also adds a lot to the shot. The only thing missing is a gondola with a singing boatman! |

Mom is most assuredly protecting her baby. The timing was great in that you got the baby's eye lit in the sun. I hope to be able to take a trip like this in the future. Well done. |

Bruce, I agree, this is an outstanding photo worthy of an award. I did download the image, (no raw image provided) and ran it through Topaz AIClear to add some more detail on the eagles beak. Either way, this one is a sure winner. Well done! |

Thank you. To be honest I don't remember there being much moonlight. I used some dodging to bring out the shadows on the rock, and Topaz DeNoise to reduce the noise in the sky. I really enjoy night shooting, but it is way past my bedtime! |
