I like the crop also. I am going back there at the end of the month to reshoot this as well as a Milky Way shot. I will definitely recompose, but I don't think there will be any wildflowers by then. |

Isaac, I also like this shot very much. It reminds me of the mountains here when there are wildfires and there is a lot of smoke.I wonder if you played with hue and saturation to bring out just a little more color in the background hills? Not sure if that would work against the blue tint or not. Well done. |

Adrian, I agree with the others that there is just to much going on in this shot. The four drinking at the bottom is the best crop as Barbara's image shows. It is difficult at best to capture a scene with this many animals in the frame. I wish you luck in your competition! |

Mary I agree with Bruce. So simple on the outside, with a wow on the inside! The lighting draws my eye to the angels at the top of the frame. A HDR set might have helped with the left window by compositing just the window from an under exposed image. Well done. |

Bruce, what a great capture! Three of the four looking right at the camera, all of the eyes sharp as a tack. The cropping really brought out the detail, and added an intimate touch to the final. I did run it thru Topaz AI Clear to bring out more facial detail and lowered the yellow background opacity to bring out the foxes. Just my personal take on an an excellent photo |
