72 Apr 19 Comment Adrian, I agree with the edits that Isaac made. The flower petals over powered the bird which is in sharp focus and with his tongue out no less! I tried some dodging on the flowers to reduce their brightness. I use NIK Viveza to help in that area as it does a wonderful job of just selecting the color you want to change. I also did some dodging on the green background to bring out the contrast of the hummingbird. Apr 7th
72 Apr 19 Comment Kent, I too like the changes that Isaac made and added just one more. I ran his version thru the new Topaz Sharpen AI and was able to recover a lot of the detail in the otters face. Apr 7th
72 Apr 19 Comment Isaac, This is a great shot with the timing being perfect! I am jealous of you birders and your images. The edits you did brought out the detail of the Egret and the crop was just enough to remove the distractions in the background. Well done indeed. Apr 7th
72 Apr 19 Comment Bruce, I agree with Isaac, this is a wonderful image captured at just right moment. I did download the raw image and ran it thru the new Topaz Sharpen AI to see if I could bring out just a bit more detail, but it was minimal. Nothing else to change in this one. Great capture!
