Hi Lauren....I love your title story. I love your image too. What stunning subjects! I think you've achieved a wonderful result here. Almost like alien spiders dropping down the image. No further comment. It's great. I must try image stacking. Did you have any particular problems and did you do it all in Photoshop?
I would like to see these gorgeous orchids more isolated as well. Did you do any macro with focus on the unusual detail?
Have a terrific Xmas and all the best for 2020. |

Hi Karl. Didn't think of doing anything Christmassy! Should have set that as a challenge. No, I don't know what a pixel stick is either. Interesting idea and fun image for the silly season! Have a great Christmas! |

Hi May. I like the use of black and white for this image as you have quite a range of tones here and some interesting textures. There are, however, a couple of things that jar just a little. I find the shoes on the left to be distracting because they are placed the wrong way. It interrupts the gentle memory idea for some reason. Perhaps this is some psychological thing I have with objects being correctly placed...no idea. The white container is also annoying. It has no apparent place in the story and the lightness pulls the eye to it. I think I might have upped the contrast and toned down the background a little somehow. The stain and pattern detract from the shoes which are the main focus. Perhaps a slight blur or a vignette??
Overall, a lovely image with a heap of potential!
Hope you have a nice Xmas break! |

Yes! Just as Lauren says. The old gramophone logo. His Master's Voice. What fun Judith. I like this image a lot. You've achieved a really interesting and impactful result. I am enjoying the colour palette. Great composition! A very fitting image for this time of year. A Merry Xmas to you and all the best for 2020!! |
