Kamal,
Nice crisp shot considering you were seated in an airplane
A couple of ideas for you. I used the transform function in Lightroom to align the top border of the compound with the image frame and I then cropped it to 16x9 as a panorama. I added a soft sepia tone using NIK Color Efex plugin (you could add yellow using the Lightroom slider also in the Basic panel) and I then added vignette using Lightroom

Thanks for your interest in IR.
The 590 nm (or nanometer) refers to the wavelength of light that is allowed to pass through a filter that is permanently installed in your converted camera body. IR is invisible to the eye . The interesting thing about the 590nm filter is that some visible light reaches the sensor (most of it is filtered out) which allows you to create a false color images as well as BW using photoshop or lightroom. I have a second IR camera conversion that is 720nm that is strictly for BW images.
Yes my modified camera no longer takes color pictures so I had it done by a company that does this type of conversion. There is a conversion that has removable filters that you can switch out including visible light so it will perform as a DSLR.
I had set my modified cameras aside but I started shooting IR again this winter. I like the look of bare trees in landscape shots.

Adrian,
The geometry of the apparatus cries for a pano and that is what you did. It is interesting that the person in the harness has the fingers in his left hand arranged the way he does?
Well seen

I agree with your assessment that the background can and should be darker. I tried my hand at a new version, which has a little less spice than yours. (although I like what you did)
Here is my new image. I wanted to retain the details in the foliage.

I like it better. Everything is viewable and the lightest spot is the middle that brings eye there first and then side to side
Are you OK with it?

So appropriate considering the World Cup arriving here shortly..
I like your composition with young fans watching 3 v 3 players. I also like the tonality of your rendering bright and vibrant throughout reflecting the youth at play

Very nice work getting the landscape in a droplet plus three little guys to add balance. I have always tried it but just got the droplet....
My only thought is to add a dark vignette around the border to bring the eye right to the drop and cover the negative space a bit

I think monochrome works quite nicely on this water scene from Maine. The cloud streaks (orange in your original) play well against the dark cloud bank and the boats in the harbor with reflections add balance.
Naturally your mono image inspired me to experiment a little. I selected the sky in LRP: raised the blacks to bring out the details in the dark cloud bank lowered the highlights toil off some of hots spots in the cloud streaks . I then copied and inverted this mask to select the water and raised the exposure a touch and reduced the highlights to bring out the details there. I added a radial gradient over the sailboats on the right and increased the exposure. I also placed a radial gradient aligned with the sun reflection the on water to pull it up a bit and draw you attention to it.

Pete,
I like trying my hand at still life photography - it gives me something to shoot in the winter or foul weather. The hardest part of it is creating the set. I struggle with it.
When pressed you passed. I think your set of various mushrooms is well conceived, with good lightning and fortunately they are edible.
My thought is to explore reducing the overall exposure some and see how it looks to you.
I think you will nail the presentation

Charles,
Otherworldly is so apt. There is the Observatory and a dirt road.
I offer slight mod. This version simply has the Auto updates in LR.

Henry,
I echo my colleague's thoughts on your composition
I am thinking a slight reduction in exposure might work nicely?

Steve,
You will wear your shutter button out shooting in Thailand...
There is distortion in the buildings, the poles to the left of the temple are leaning a bit. I used LR Transform full to correct it and it did a pretty good job. It then leads to more work filling in the blank pixels as the image is warped into shape. I cropped the bottom until I hit good pixels leaving a wedge shaped area that I filled in PS using the spot healing brush. I used PS generative fill to fix a open area in the upper left created during transform process
I also selected the new building in LR and increased the exposure a touch to create tone separation bewteen old and new

Dynamite shot. The foliage, that is typical of nice southern homes, looks great in IR especially its varied tonality.
Must be nice inside considering the look of the two chandeliers.
Gary would be proud of this shot.

You positioned yourself well on the bridge, the island and its diamond shaped foliage draw your eye. The clouds are perfect.
I have one nit. I would like to have space between the top island foliage and the bank of trees in the background with water in between. It would require ladder in all probability.
