Top marks to you for bringing the geyser out front and center in your shot and for using a fast shutter speed that brings out the structure within the plume.A very well executed shot

Good photographers see things that most folks will pass on by. I too like to photograph old cars and will focus on the badges, hood ornaments, etc, they are the design legacy of the these vanishing old machines.
Your vivid rendering brings out Plymouth emblem perfectly and the rusty hood makes a great background. It is such a great shot that I had to look at it in Lightroom as well. I used a linear gradients below the emblem to darken the hood and one above with less exposure reduction and added just a touch of yellow to give at the 50's feel

I am torn, like King Solomon was, I like the landfall and the sky in this shot so I did no cropping.
Push comes to shove I removed a foreground slice to move the horizon down.
Thanks for creative comments

Adrian,
Top marks to you for culling this BW from your original. It is technically amazing and it focuses us on the car lights you wanted to capture.
My suggestion is to darken the Dunlop area in the top of the frame just slightly, it is the first place your eye goes.

Mandy,
Your shot of the underground station gives us a sense of its size, its modern feel, and it makes you wonder what it must be like when the crush of passengers await the next train. A nice perspective.
It took me awhile to realize that there is a person way back there. My suggestion is to delete "him" in either version.

Mark,
Your image makes me wonder if the lady is waiting for someone, resting, enter the cathedral after she finishes her coffee? This what a good photo should do to the viewer...
Your BW image is spot on but being the guy who likes to experiment...I placed an inclined radial gradient such that the center was over her face with the right end beyond the stair rail, inverted it and reduced the exposure to partially darken the facade.

Pete,
The honest emotion of this 2017 protester resonates with me so much. Wonderful shot.
I agree with you that having background faces from the crowd in your image adds context. I offer a thought to fade them a bit more particularly because their eyes are closed. I selected subject LR, inverted the selection to try to keep her strands of hair out the masked area, I then reduced the sharpness and reduced exposure.

I second Gary's observation that your image includes the ever vanishing old barn with the Mail Pouch Ad and five vintage cars/trucks just waiting for a buyer to restore them ($$$) . It is Americana at its best. I agree with your choice to create the faux color rendering, the barn jumps out in it.
Well seen

Gary,
Your camera is positioned so well in this shot. My eye immediately goes between the wooden cross and the headstone, diagonally across the cemetery, and towards the mountains and the somber clouds. Sepia toning works for me as well with the cemetery field being the lightest tone.

Jack,
I like the sepia toned image.
There is a lot in this scene to view particularly in the foreground that tends to detract from the ruins itself.. I tried to simplify the image via a square crop combined with a lowering of exposure.

A mix of nature's randomness and man's order that only a good photographer can see.

Charles,
I think you processed this image perfectly. It has the cool feeling of the elevation, and the arch adds an atmospheric phenomena that only exists to viewers at 14kft.

Melanie,
I can't help but to stop and examine your image closely. It is a day in the life of people who work so hard just to wash a few items of clothes using an outdoor faucet. What do they do for food, etc, your image evokes those kind of thoughts for me.
Thanks so much for sharing
