Michael,
I have Ver 7, but I am I feel the update fell short of a clean user interface from my perspective and that may be due to my muscle memory through use of the tool over time, so I have reverted back to using Ver 6 for now. I use Silver Efex and Color Efex only. If you are happy, stay the course until the early NIK versions are no longer compatible with your operating system.

Michael,
I love your first submission. Yes the structure are separated a bit but the rising Moon bridges the game in my eye
Here is how I fix objects affected by wide angle lenses when LR transform fails you. Use the rectangular Marquee tool to select the left structure and be generous about your selection, then use transform Rotate and rotate the selection so the sides are vertical. This will create some open segments that you fill by using the remove tool
See my result

When you decide as an artist to render an image a certain way, I say go for it. You achieved your objective quite nicely.
A technical note Adrian, You shot this at a fast shutter speed of 1/1500 sec and so I am somewhat surprised to see the gulls wing tips out of focus.

Chris,
Years ago I took a few shots of this train station and I think it was Amtrak had service then to this station which I also photographed. Wonderful area to visit.
Your camera position is perfect, capturing the tracks and long isolated train station in full. Mission accomplished on this photograph.

Top marks to you for your BW treatment of these two lady swimmers. The crop works for me, the water splashing, stopped motion, etc etc
There are some reflections in top right that could be removed?

Still Life photography is a science unto itself and enjoy viewing the results that I see from folks on Facebook.
I like your setup here, the fog effect really helps to add a mystical tone and your masking tailored it well.
I have nothing to add to aid you on this scene other than keep at it.

I like your rendering very much
Foreground suggestion: I placed a linear gradient over the foliage, increased exposure, added touch of yellow, added some clarinet and reduced the dehaze slider to open it up.

Gary,
I am guessing there is a treasure trove of IR film negatives that will become a real recovery project for you.
Your processing recreates the past, the background tree line is magical. The very top of a building above the van cab could be deleted. Could you retrace your steps as to when the dark LH upper first appears, use Generative fill and remove it so you have a uniform vignette across the sky if you feel it is really needed?

My feeling is the ruins should bring the viewers eye to them and everything else provide support. If the ruins are dark and the tree is bright it is where the eye goes first and it becomes the subject.
Here is my rendition

Melanie,
Wonderful mood in your Aug image. I feel the main story line is the trees with their texture and the leaves are there to fill in the scene. So I like it

Echo the group's positive feedback on your Aug scene
Food for thought, you could open up the boats etc a bit so they stand out more. I used an adjustment brush and increased exposure.

This image says "Look at Me" and I do again and again. Amazing to see the potential of this subject that you photographed and then achieving it after thoughtful post-processing for us to see
Top Marks nothing more to say

Henry,
How many people looked up saw the skull, went into the trading post and back to their car and that was it. I applaud you for getting on "film" and IR at that.
Love the layers, the building texture, the shadows over the window, and your crop.
Well done
Emil
