Wonderful image and I applaud you for getting the shot while partially immersed - a sign of a true professional

You fought through some very tough weather conditions to take this shot of Sims Island. I like your processing and you should hang it your home to remind of just what of this unique photo Op.

Mark,
I like your perspective of Blue Hen Falls. Your wide angle shot shows the power of the falls after countless heavy rains eroded a fairly large area of the basin. I think opening up the basin area like Pete's example will add visual impact to a very nice shot

Fresh air, snow cover, clean water flowing strong creating rapids which for me is a timeless image

You are onto something good here and encourage you to go out as Spring brings buds appear and shoot up a storm...
All your image needs is separation between the foreground flower and the mid ground bud which you did as an update.

Burning the RHS bring out the path a bit more and changes the look for the better
Thanks

Mark,
Nik Silver Efex has about 50 BW presets. It is one of the ways I render in BW. I will pick a preset that comes close to the outcome I desire, I select it and then edit my images further in PS CC or LR Classic create the look I am after. You can certainly get to the same spot using LR or PS but probably with more steps.
Thanks for your comment. I can certainly dial down the exposure on the RHS.

I had to try my hand at your image from Cuba, a place I will never see first hand
A tad darker, a little more street, square crop for your consideration.

Wonderful scene photographed in beautiful area.
I offer a small change in which I placed a linear gradient coming down from the top left on a diagonal that stopped above the stairs and reduced the exposure by .6 stop to darken the trees on the left.

Love the texture and light in your original so I went with a BW look and cropped the left and bottom edges.

All,
I should have added a sentence or two in my Workflow description on what my vision was for my March image. I wanted it to create a post sunset dark scene with a small shaft of light from a source out of frame that runs from top right to lower left corner. Just trying to create something a little different for you to review
