I think your shot SOOC (Straight Out Of the Camera) is almost perfect
I took your original rendered it in BW and placed a fairly large radial gradient using LR Classic over the Gibbon, the branch where its head is and raised the exposure, shadows, texture, and clarity and called it a day

Israel,
Top marks to you for your camera position, it provides the environment. I like the color and the BW versions which is a two for one for you.
You might consider the toning LuAnn used it fits the subject so well

Wonderful take on my favorite flower. The dialogue above speaks to the interest your image creates, to me the comments are proportionate to its quality.

PS I took a cur at it also

A Photoshop trick I use to blur water to simulate long exposure: duplicate the background layer and then use the Gaussian Blur filter on the new layer and slide the number of pixels in the blur to the right to get a realistic calm water look, but the blur is now over the entire image. To restrict it to the water, I use a layer mask and make sure the water is painted white and the non water is painted black on the mask. The white shows the calm water and the black ends up showing the unblurred area from the layer below.
The reality is in Bunny's image, long exposure would blur the iceberg too since its moving and the clouds since they move...
I think using the iPhone in this trying environment was very smart. I use my 13 pro model a lot since you can shoot in raw and end up with 30+ mega pixel image that is now very editable.
God bless you Bunny for taking such an adventurous journey that many of us will never experience
Well done

Your final crop is spot on and I like your focus on the man selling Mohitos. Great street shot in my view
I offer two thoughts: the sign highlights could be reduced with LR brush and the bystander could be just a touch lighter there are some shadow details on his torso that you can bring out

A picture of a day in the life of very young girl is a capture for a life time.
Great portrait - you are a very capable people shooter.
My nits are removing the light areas on the plate, and around her head.

Charles,
In PS CC I started with your original, I used the Silver Efex Deep Landscape preset to bring out the clouds but it made the rest of the image dark. So I added a Levels and Brightness/Contrast adjustment layers to bring up the foreground. Then back to LR Classic to dodge and burn the clouds using the adjustment brush.

Wonderfully seen and rendered. I would have never guessed this photo was taken in Cuba.

Your composition has the IR ingredients we all strive to capture: nice clouds, foliage, grasses, a bridge and water.
I started with your original with the hope of bring out the clouds and let the foliage vary but not too dark, this is a placid serene scene.

When the trees are bare, they sky is grey, and there is a Midwest chill in the air, you should work on the images you have in hand until the weather breaks....
I am impressed with your Feb image. There is a mood you created. Is she possessed or thinking about warmer days?

I like this shot and I feel you could approach the rendering a little differently. When I look at it my eye goes to the light sandy area on the hill so if you open up the foreground you lead the viewers eye down the rocks and then up the hill you see the whole image.
I humbly submit a version that attempts to do this

Excellent composition and I love the detail of the windmills
Food for thought: Dodge the mid ground area, that is the grass in front of the tall windmill and the its structure so your eye goes to it naturally. I used a radial gradient on the grass and the brush on the tall windmill. I also burned the grass in the foreground using a linear garden. I selected the sky and reduced the exposure a little and painted over the whitest clouds with a brush increasing exposure so they would pop

I have been to SD several times to photograph the Badlands NP but sadly I never set foot on the Black Hills and your shot of the rock formation makes me wonder why I missed such a great opportunity.
I like you composition and the background low land running to infinity reinforces your smart photo position.
I also wondered about a darker sky version which to me also affects the land below...

High marks to you on your "color" version - I have decided to dwell in the BW realm at this point in my life
I wanted to make the image about the Cypress so minimized the wetland in the foreground and brought out the tree trunks. The mood for me was the light area behind the trees. I like Gary's darker look now that I have a chance to look at on my computer so I try another version.

Emil
