What you did by simply rotating the suspension bridge image gets two thumbs up from me! The effect is extraordinary, I would have guessed what your BW source was.
Keep shooting

You made the ordinary extraordinary with some nice work in your post processing. I agree with Bob, most of us would never have bothered to snap the shutter if we had walked by.
Food for thought, I think you can add a little more depth to your BW by adding some light and dark shading to the dark floats and to the sand using a LR brush or radial gradient

Your subject definitely shines this month. The detail is amazing since white to me is the hardest tone to retain detail. The background is illuminated just enough so it is readable and provides the context of the scene.
Job well done

My hat is off to you for working to expand your portfolio of subjects. Birds are photo genre requiring constant work, I try my hand every winter when the Eagles arrive to feed and I have little to show for it.
Your shot of the goose is very nice. I will share a PS trick that I use to address the tree line reflection in the top of your frame, use the Gaussian Blur and vary the amount so it softens the tree lines. Your image layer will come back fully blurred so I add a mask to keep the effect localized.
Keep shooting birds my friend

The pinhole preset in Silver Efex produce the lights and darks you see that I liked and kept. I have tried to look for adjustments but had little success trying to adjust where the light areas falls on my subject.
I sort of like the mystery created by the darks...

I try different a different lens each time a visit, it challenges you to compose in a varied subject environment. This year it was trying to get a few good shots with a fixed 70mm lens that just happened to be macro.

Bob,
Very nice work. I like where you are taking your creative treatment of botanical subjects. Food for thought as you proceed forward, the lower flower petal is close to the bottom edge of your frame, there could be a touch more space.

I wish I could have taken the same shot with you. Nice work
I have one suggestion, I did a curves adjustment to boost the contrast in PS and called it a day

Gary,
The foreground/midground is perfection with your treatment of the lights and darks...but I wonder if the clouds are a little busy. Fewer clouds in light of all that is going on below them, possibly something like this?
I like sky replacement so the bland space above a scene has something for the viewer, it is the smart thing to do.

Charles,
The tram rails, the tree canopy make a wonderful vanishing point perspective and then you see the tram way back there heading our way. Good idea with great impact visually. Maybe a little desaturation of the tram fits better in the scene?
Nice work

Perfect scene cropped or not.
The log needs a little burning to bring it out. Gary's update does that nicely
I love what you see when you commune with nature.

I too thought you were on safari when took this shot...
Your processing is spot on..I like the fact you dodged the face of the lion and wonder if you should have done the entire sculpture?
Thanks for your feedback on photographing sculpture, well put

Such a gorgeous scene you brought back from your trip. Tony Sweet always likes to shoot IR on rainy days...The blue works for me in this scene.
I wonder if you were to darken the foliage on either side of the water fall just a smidge to help it stand out a bit more, and possible add a little dodging to the falling water too.
I hope you have a few more shots from your trio for us

I applaud you for posting just "puffy" clouds this month. I always look at clouds and take a few shots of the interesting formations for the record.
They are relaxing, ever changing, therapeutic...the list is endless
