Your bicycle wheel image is a creative catalyst for our group. It speaks to artistic release in BW photography
I too had to play. A little vignette and burning the rims a bit more the further into the image I went
Nice work seeing the shot number one and secondly your treatment in BW. The second part is really just starting.

Nicely seen, the bright sky brings you right into the frame
I did find this vintage shot taken just before the alien invasion in 1950

Israel,
I love this shot of the monk during the Holy Fire Celebration, the light is superb
I liked the three elements in your shot, the monk's face illuminated by the fire, the fire he is holding with his right hand and the candle in his left hand. Food for thought...I darkened the image overall and then placed radial gradients using LR Classic over his face to bring back the light there, one over the candle and his hand and did then with the fire I softened it by lowering the sharpness and reduced the exposure. I also added small strip on the right side using PS to add a little more space between the frame edge and the flame

The precision with which you created "Down the Road" is what makes the abstract a compelling view, it is perfection.
I am leaning towards the BW version because the lower segment that leads you into the frame looks like a road surface running into the distance and then the high contrast glass abstract surrounding the road has so much interest
I wish you all the best in the competition

The common everyday dandelion, the bane for all home owners trying to get great lawns becomes a photo work of art.
I love what you did, the focus stacking with a macro lens really brings it home for me.
Too bad you can't enter this shot
I saw another shot of a dandelion shot recently on Facebook in which the artist had some of seeds in the air near the seed head they had been part. I would love to try it but the seed head would be bare
Nicely done

I will definitely join the choir here and give you high marks for good vision in your composition.
I think darkening the bare section of the tree is all you have left to do, further cropping is your option
Nice work

Love the shot, there is interest for my eye from top to bottom. it has grandeur and majesty
It does need a little something more. I think adding contrast along Henry's offering is something I endorse

Awesome shot. Photography is about seeing things many never do.
I become immersed quickly in your composition, The shade under the tree and then the house gable in the sunlight through the branches

Good to see that you are out taking new shots and you hoots did not affect your composition skills
If I was the art director of an IR magazine this shot would be my cover.
The thing I try to do but very seldom achieve is to get the lights and darks in the foliage straight of the camera, once you do the rendering falls into place

You picked a great spot to capture this ghost town, the farm implements in the foreground add context to the weathered buildings. How you found it is a well kept secret I am sure.
I am wondering if you would consider a crop to your image? I removed a sliver from the left and the bottom of the frame which brings the town into closer focus for the eye.

You did the great city of Prague justice with your composition.
My take on your shot was to darken the sky just a bit using the select sky filter in LR Classic and I set the black and white points using the Develop module sliders. Nothing drastic Food for thought anyway
