Thanks everyone for your comments
I have fixed the tree reflection which I had not given any thought to previously. Thankfully this team is on the ball
I apologize for my late responses. I spent a few days in Death Valley a few weeks ago. Something I have always wanted to do and you guessed correctly that some of my shots will be posted here for comment

My thoughts fall in line with Oliver's version
You want your subject to pop and the background to fake away.

Great shot. I like to shoot architecture and your image is very unique.
I am late to comment due to a road trip so my apologies for last minute input.
If the trees were were across the entire bottom of your frame, I would say leave them they serve as a base, the thought would be to darken them to anchor the bottom. Since they are a reflection, crop them out. The building is your well chosen subject so it needs to stand out. I would lighten its triangular shape and darken the sky be careful to maintain the cloud ;luminosity.

Bob,
You have accomplished something I have always wanted to do, shooting hot air balloons particularly in Albuquerque.
Food for thought: Lighten the balloons so your eye foes there first, fixing the sky like Oliver did add value to your image.
Check out a YouTube video on using the tools in the LR Develop module by Jack Curran, it is 60 minutes long and will help your editing if you feel it is needed. Same tools as Adobe Camera Raw BRW

Thanks for comments
Food for thought I would put a radial filter around the church and brighten it so it pops. Adding the light ray over forested hill is a good idea but doesn't always work out the way you would like. I would try it again but use several radial filters, narrow in width, each successive filter inside the previous one with some clarity added.

Israel,
I am late to the party for comments so I offer a thought for you on composition. Frame your subjects with more space around them. You can always crop your scene in post and with the added space, crop selectively (e.g. rule of thirds )

Michael,
I do cloud replacement when I have bland or blue sky. In this image, I did do a sky replacement. I went back to the sequence of changes to this file. My apologies
Thanks for your comments

Hey Gang,
Thanks for the feedback. The structure under the bridge arch was "destroyed by gunfire" in my digital darkroom
You are All Seeing and All Knowing so I abide by the input.
Looking forward to April

Nice work. Your original composition supports your rendition and Gary's. both of which are compelling

Great scene, I appreciate why you would want to relax and enjoy the birds. I like Palli's update, the Weaver nests catch my eye

Great move rotating your original. You created the picture. It does not always work on flowers but it does here. Melanie's idea is interesting another picture entirely, a sign of an image with lots of viable outcomes.

Wonderful image. The banding in the clouds near the building is magical
I photographed the building in 2015 in color and rendered it in BW

Thanks for your comments I typically use Detail Extractor. In this image I used it early in the workflow but did not want to use it again for fear of having an over baked image. I will lower the opacity of this layer or use a layer mask to control/target the amount of change. I certainly can give it another go. I did "boost" contrast maybe not to this group's workflow standards but I am leaning in that direction more and more
