I appreciate your feedback. The perspective change is very subtle and I had to compare your update to my Jan submission to see what you did. I will give it a try
Thanks

A decent sized tree growing up from the floorboards of a car tells you this vehicle has sat untouched for a very long time. They are fun to shoot and provide ample opportunity in the digital darkroom which I believe you had.
I couldn't pass up taking a turn. I used Antique Plate 1 in Silver Efex. Cropped it a little and darken the foreground.
Thanks for sharing with me

Leah,
I love the orderly lights and darks you captured in the church corridor.
My thought was to go further by darkening the ceiling so the shafts of light become more distinct as well as walls close to the windows and to paint in a little more light here and there. I cropped the foreground and left side a lire and ended up here

Thanks for sharing the backstory on Larry. Governments have done inhumane things to their indigent people in the name of progress, Apologies are not enough in my mind.
I think creating a composite is great way to meld the person to the memorial forever. You did a nice job.
Have you thought about providing a copy to Larry or to the Inuit leaders?

It is a great that nature has provided a migration corridor that you can access. It offers new opportunities for photography. I love the line of birds in flight or BIF.
I see another image within your shot that focuses solely on the BIF. Using LR, I cropped the bottom off and flipped the image so the birds are flying in the opposite direction but now there are in ascending order. I then refined my crop so the edge distance of the birds at each end is the same. I then hit auto in the develop module which lightened the image and put the BIF in more of a silhouette, I darkened the base using the liner grad filter and stopped

Your image choice is perfect to process with Artisan Pro. As LuAnn noted you want to stroll the cobblestones and just take your time walking. It has many ways you can introduce lights and darks.
Some feedback for you. In your original, the light is on the buildings on the right at the end of the road, suggesting the sun is to your left since the rest of the scene is flat. Now that you have opened up the road some on the left, I feel the light is coming over your left shoulder and the light would spill onto the buildings that are there as well. I would lighten them up some not as much as the buildings on the right using the gradient tool.
Thoghts?

This is a great scene and as Jack noted would look great in color or IR.
I took the liberty to render your original in BW because I liked the composition. I used Silver efex neutral, color efex detail extractor and then LR filters on the lights and darks. I flipped it horizontally so the road is on the left.

Ferns and IR are a good match. I am OK with soft focus of fern in foreground.
My suggestion is to flip the image horizontally so the ferns are tilting away from us and cloning out the light line and seeing how that looks.

Charles,
I believe you and Palli are looking over each others shoulders during image selection this month.
An S turn bordered by trees in IR is as good as it gets in my book. Well done

I like your vision in this composition, I want to go around the turn to see the rest of the neighborhood. Processing is well done
The beauty of IR is that it makes a subdivision photo compelling

This is an amazing image. It is haunting, mystical, creative....
I think the glow around the lady is part of the aura that sells the eerie overall image. I applaud you for masterful work
2021 will be a better year
