Oliver,
Take 11 more of these and you have the basis for a great selling calendar.
Well done and hopefully this little bundle was fairly cooperative.

Amazing shot and post processing. It took me awhile to find this little creature in your original. In your submission, I got the impression that is the photo you took rendered in BW.

I am becoming a fan of architectural photography. Working with shadows and light to bring out the surfaces is a worthwhile endeavor. You have done just that with this very uniquely designed steeple, sometimes good photographs are close to us. I would recommend removing the wire in the left corner. The scene lends itself to long exposure photography, maybe 30 seconds if clouds are moving well, so that the sky (clouds) becomes smeared and offers a different look

Welcome to our active group. Your thought to repurpose the flower bouquet for still life was spot on. I like the tones of the flowers against the "vase" and the balance you created at its base as well. Food for thought, your light source is on the right, would it makes sense to darken the left side of the image somewhat to add some depth?

Great job with your camera motion. The subject is begging for that type of image in my view. Love the tone, it makes a dream-like scene for me

You ask a great question about how this old Ford got stranded in Namibia. Only the shadow knows.
I am glad you stopped to take this photo during your rest stop. I love to photograph old cars and trucks. The sign in the truck window is a sign to me that you were deliberate in your composition - sorry i had to phrase it this way. Sepia works here and you have enough of the desert and hills in the background to make you ask How did that truck get there?

Good feedback
I shot this in HDR but used just one image because I wanted to leave the overall image dark. The backstory is, and I am sticking to it, I edited this image entirely in a new plugin that I purchased called Artisan Pro X for experience. It has a steep learning curve and is well suited to render architectural images in BW. All of the changes I made to surfaces are separate selections that I can darken or lighten individually. Since I wanted a dark/ominous prison, my edits lightened the stairs and the area on the floor by the window for example just enough to achieve my goal and the rest is history

High marks on your reprocessed image. I know it took some work to do a "Paul Bunyon" on the tree and you had taken the extra images to do it.

I applaud you for seeing an image from another artist that brought a response to you and trying your rendition. This is eye catching work. The variations in texture and color in your image make it work for me. The Japanese object provides a nice anchor for my eye

Eagle eye award on your shot. The continuous vertical tree line against the road is amazing and is in contrast with the opposing foliage. My eye wants to go to the horizon and beyond. Effective composition

Your composition is spot on. I like the camera portion. The blues offsetting the whites is as good as any IR color image I have seen. Super job

I like your Dec submission very much, it is unique and reflects your skill for using our processing tools. The painterly look works for me, IR is the genre for pushing boundaries artistically. The draw is your choice of red for the barn and discolored roof. It anchors your image. I know its work to remove the power lines surgically but it catches the eye when you look at the barn.

You captured a very nice moment in time that will last forever. I like the vertical frame. Trees on each side of the subjects walking. High marks to you

Thanks Charles
I agree the sign should be gone. I started down that road with a first attempt at content aware fill in PS that was a loser. It was going to take a piecemeal edit to get it right and I got sidetracked and forgot to finish this task. I did not add the walker, I chose the wrong raw fill it appears.
