You have done a lot of work to bring out the Tea House. Cropping was a good idea. The tones are close between the adjacent foliage and the wooden structure, so I am wondering if a vignette will help focus the eye on the Tea House?

Yosef,
Timing (and patience) is everything in your shot. Well done. My suggestion is to lighten some of the dark Sunflower leaves in the foreground so the texture can just be seen.

Very Nice shot. You have everything clean by that I mean there is water between the lighthouse, the schooner, and the rocks with contrast. I have two thoughts for you to consider, a crop to remove some of the sky and darkening the foreground to the horizon so there is tone separation.

Great idea taking this shot while out and about in Cambridge cIty. I love the DOF you used. Food for thought: I cropped your shot a little tighter to eliminate the out of focus key in front and the RHS where the front of the keys are etc. I did paint out the black key remnant. Your theme remained intact IMHO

You are a fan of water scenes no question. I wish I had a place that has an intimate feel to it like this one. A thought I have is to lighten the reflected clouds a touch so you look down the waterway into your image.

Melanie,
Monument Valley is an IR playground. The clouds on the day you visited were off the charts. My eye is drawn to the light grass in the foreground immediately and then I move to the next light spot of grass. My thought is to lightened the path and darken the grass so your eye is led into your image towards the first monument.

Gary,
I like the fact you are revealing another facet of your great body of work. I was wondering how you took this photo in IR without having black eyes, now I know. You put some time into this "false" IR portrait. It is a first for me on how to process a color image. Nice work as always

I like your work here. Removing the board the statue is diving from really changes the effect. I like the tone. Agree with your placement choice also. I will leave further cropping to you. Something to think about next time, the diver and the tree behind her are overlapping so moving to right to create some clearance is a good thing to my eye.

Charles,
Good comment either approach works. I decided that since I had the leading lines of the rows of beans leading to the old buildings, they should reveal their details to the viewer so I dodged them in post. I darkened the grass just in front to provide a transition.
