Ernie, Nice outcome wrt alligator's image quality in IR. I like the contrast between the dark water and the dappled light area at the top of the frame and wanted to retain the look but with a mod. I exported your image to LR and used the linear gradient filter to darken that part of your image so it didn't compete with the animal. I then used the radial filter on the alligators' head and body and lightened him up so it stands out against the dappled water.

Melanie, I love your old barn shots. The white foliage contrasts with the barn facade and layer of clouds in the sky make for a great shot.

Jack, I would not have thought to try this shot but I am very glad you did. It is a nice abstract and the fact that your subject is leaves is clear in the image. It opens up another avenue to explore artistically for me. If there is a way to enhance the edges of the white leaves using PS, Nik or other tool I think you would have an over the top image.

Charles, I like the composition your choice adding color to the sky and the white foliage. I feel the tree on the left and the bridge both need to come out of the shadows. I use the radial filter in LR to control shadows and highlights and I use that tool on every IR image i process. It allows you to affect only the areas you want to change. If you need a little tutorial check into it on Youtube.
Here is my update using the radial filter

Nicely composed image. The dark cross in the foreground grass field grabs my eye immediately. The interesting thing I noted was my eye then went to the tombstone behind it, to the bush, to the treelike behind it leading me all the way into the shot.
I like it

Charles, You make a very interesting point about the large shed and the subject truck competing for attention. I will keep that input in my composition file.
