Jack,
I think you choose the right version that has enough foreground and sky content. I am wondering if a Detail Extractor layer would help the sky and the buildings - I masked the field and reduced opacity to 80%

We have a nice run on old buildings this month, each photographer bringing a different touch for us to see. I like the tree behind the old structure, the composition would not be as strong without it. Nice tones. My only thought is to clone out the small cloud in the upper right. |

Nice BW city scape with a path for my eye to follow to the cathedral. Super foreground detail in the street and the buildings forces me to look closer at your shot. |

Charles,
Nice landscape comp. I like the tonal range, the interesting clouds in the sky and the leading line of the inlet coupled with the fallen tree un the foreground. You know you have a keeper when the processing job is small |

Gary,
Old barns, a subject we IR photographers all love to process in the digital darkroom...I like the pano format and antique tone, the tree balances the old barn nicely and you captured forever a structure that is nearing end of life sadly.

Palli,
Nice job. I believe that when you photograph a subject with an end state already in mind it works out. The processing works very well as does your finished image. |
