I like this composition very much. It takes a while for my eye to see what is going on but that is the magic in your shot. Amazingly still that day. I like the tonal difference between the reflection and the land. The sky reflection could be darkened a little vice removed because it adds info to me about the scene. |

I love the old time feel of your image. I am a fan of old barns and you placed this poor old structure in the center where it deserves to be. Great sky.

Charles,
I love the texture layers in your image, The ferns in the foreground, then dark structure, with trees and blue sky in the background.

Super shot. I love the simplicity, the rolling hills of the Palouse and then the power line solitary telephone pole telling me we are in the sticks.
My thought is to darken the sky some and then pump the white clouds up.

Kudos to you on the rock tones and nice details. Your image has an other world feel to it.
I a big fan of long exposure IR. I agree with Jack's observation that long exposure of moving water results in its blurring creating a "cotton candy" look. Is it safe to say there was not a lot of water motion due to the rocks?

Out of this world image.
I applaud you for trying a new subject that works so very well.

Palli and Jack,
Palli I like your version better.
Jack thanks for reinforcing Palli's feedback.
Honestly I have some sort of mental block when it comes to making an image such as this one too dark. I need get over it and make a storm look foreboding like Palli did. I will work on this I promise you
