Melanie
The bowed branch and the fence line draw you into the picture. Great eye |

Thanks all for your thoughtful feedback.
I wanted the foliage to have several muted color tones and the tree in the upper left "gravitated" toward green for some reason. I honestly did not think about having some green on the right for balance which is a great comment. My work can use additional contrast. |

IR is the medium for digital darkroom experimenting and I support all that give it a go. I spent a good while examine your image and my eye kept going to the center bright spot. I agree with Melanie and Gary that using just the two trees on the right retains your artistic vision and gives the view a scene nice contrast. |

Gary,
I like simple images and it is easier said than done. You bring us into the ruins with the lighting around it, the antique plate toning makes me feel like I am viewing a vintage western phot, and the cloudy sky is perfect with a darker tone that brings your eye back to the ruins. |

Chuck,
I like the shot and I think it could stronger by cropping it two trees as Melanie did or three. I am OK with 50/50 scene my eye wants to see the full reflection but there is nothing wrong with adding more sky. |

Jack,
I like your composition. The mottled foreground works for me, a few wispy clouds on the left side midground, a leaning tree viewed from a vantage point of looking slightly dow hill. The leaves on the left are contrasted by the clear sky and the tree branches by white foliage on the right. |

Ernie,
Nice work. Shooting the interior of the Glass Palace with a 10MM lens was a great choice. The mullion creates a lattice work that fans out radially from the central structure and the layer of trees rim the outside provide contrast to the sky. I like the position you choose to take the picture it captures all there is is to see. |
