IR processing is what draws me to this genre. You are only limited by your creative vision and my creative aperture is definitely benefitting from the various points of view from our group.
I like the way you cropped this image very much. The lighthouse is lost in the background in your original and there is too much stuff in the foreground. My only food for thought is to consider lightening the foliage in the foreground just a touch.

Gary,
You had a vision for this shot and you achieved it. I have not attempted a portrait in IR for fear that I could not achieve a suitable image. I like the glow about this image very much

Charles,
I too like the portrait shot, the trees in the foreground reach for the sky in it and I like the road running into infinity. I also think the sky could be processed to add another dimension to your shot.

Great work getting these virus clouds on "film" Did you use a long exposure per chance. This is something I want to try.

I like your composition with the rock faces framing your subject. Good eye. The puffy clouds are something we all wish for in our shots. I like the layering with dark rocks, lighter foliage, the rock formation and the clouds. I might suggest lightening the foliage just a touch.

Melanie,
The man walking his bike draws my eye immediately into your shot, you wonder how he is reacting to being photographed. Your crop strategy works well and I like the tonal range. Gary said it right "natural feel"
