Great you were able to get a photo of this from the window. I think your edit does a good job at isolating to the core subject. I like the color version with the vivid green of her dress. |

Talk about the city growing up around the building. Looks like such a strange beacon from a bygone era in comparison to the modern high rises.
Great light on the buildings. I like the color version but did agree with Brenda's comments on the sharpening. Your 2nd color version is better.
You could also make an alternate version with a tighter crop and still retain the modern look of the other buildings while bringing more focus ot the old building. Here's a quick suggestion to get a visual, but maybe even tighter with a wide format aspect ratio. |

Thanks Brenda. There's not much to street or people photography, just point the camera and click :) |

Great idea, still life, and story behind the image. I love that they reconnected again, all those years later.
"Sarah My Love" seems like a better title to me (or maybe "Dearest Sarah?")
I feel like the crop is a little tight though I get what you are doing to minimize the floor. I think it would be better with more space around the edges, though maybe need to do some creative cloning / background replacement if you don't think it fits.

I was thinking the same as Sunil on cropping in a little tighter.
I like how the building looks a little like a locomotive. |

Feels like you could come in a little tighter to me and still keep the same feel of the image. I'm still undecided on the color.
It adds a unique element but maybe a bit too much? Maybe go about halfway between the two? |

Incredible to see these powerful creatures in their natural habitat. He almost looks like he is yawning after a little multi-month power nap.
I'm gonna kick it off with the near cliche but potentially effective idea to do a flip horizontal. I feel like reading left to right we see the more docile bear and then it leads our eye to the one with the open jaw. I also am not so convinced on the crop, even though it keeps the shadow, I feel like you have a more powerful composition by coming in even tighter on your bears.
20k photos - wow! Your poor hard drive :) I just returned from a trip with about 2500 photos and feels quite challenging to get through, 20k is just wow. |
