Sunil, I like the way your edits enhanced the Christmas tree.
As already mentioned, I kind of wish the scene was a bit cleaner in terms of the background elements (cars and people) but still a bright and festive image as is. |

Richard, nice to see you shooting with m4/3 / Olympus (new camera?)
I like the richer saturation of the glass in your original. The edit seems a bit washed out to me.
For something different you could try rotating like this ... |

Light sailing on the Venice Highway :)
(that was my first impression but also a title suggestion)
Another great image from this photogenic city. I don't think I would have thought to capture light trails from boats like this and don't recall seeing a similar image before.
The backdrop is well done I think as far as night shot shots go, and the lights add an interesting subject to the mix.
Props to you as well for creative thinking to layer multiple shots to get different trails.
I like Terry's minimalist single trail approach -- but also thinking if you took the idea further and captured an hour of boat traffic (merged together), that could yield some visually compelling results as well.

You've captured the light beautifully through her tail, mane and chin hairs. Interesting explanation about the image rotation as well.
One thought on the foreground would be to bring the brightness down on the grass just a little bit to further bring attention to the main subject. |

A powerful portrait! Very well done.
Aesthetically, it hints a little to me of 70's glam rock in the spirit of Bowie or Grace Jones.
The clarity is impressive and I don't have much to suggest on technical topics, though I find this image to be very compelling in that one could project a number of different interpretations.
It's quite amazing how a fairly minimal image with just 4 or 5 elements (her race, use of color / lighting, hat, jacket and her expression) can add a number of symbolic meanings to an image
I also was wondering about the choice of a civil war era hat and what that might signify. Adding to that, the choice to use red and blue lights (invoking the police) adds another potential layer of meaning.
