78 Feb 19 Reply Thanks... I'll try to remember that. Feb 10th
78 Feb 19 Comment Richard,
Nice mood. All I could think to do was lighten the face and sharpen the scarf. Not sure it helps much

78 Feb 19 Comment Abdo,

Lovely, Lovely shot. The only thing I could think to do was clone out the vertical post on the right and clean up the roots over the last horses back hoof. Thanks again... great shot

78 Feb 19 Comment Jason,
For me the bare branches are nothing to look at. It seems to me that if a photo needs to be explained it's not doing its job. What do you think of the vertical crop? I brought out the horse a bit and cleaned up the branches and fence railing.

I went back to the original, vertical crop, lightened the door so we can see a Buddha... I think this looks like a journey toward something.I also removed the flag and darkened the highlights on the head a little. What do you think

78 Feb 19 Comment Alan,
I darkened the face a little as well as the other things mentioned. I used Vivera 2 to do that. The low res of this image will make it difficult to make a good print I think.

78 Feb 19 Reply Alan,
Thanks. I would love to see shots of your place. Even if it is dryer.

78 Feb 19 Comment Brenda,
Does this do anything for you? I lightened the windows with the dodge tool in Ps and then used the Full Dynamic (smooth) preset in Silver Effects. This is real down and dirty but for me, it helps emphasize the interior structure. It does look "over processed". With care that could be tamed down quite a bit.

It has a similar protrusion on the left side. I think it is for a right handed rower sitting in the rear swiveling seat. I agree it detracts from the image, except for people who know their kayaks. The posted orig. is straight from the camera. Here it is optimized.

78 Feb 19 Reply Sunil,

Thanks I agree. Here is a reworked B&W. I used Vivers to darken the sky and brighten the boat and then used a yellow filter to make the conversion.
