Nice subject matter. As mentioned, nice contrast between the metal (copper?) and the wood. The only add I might have is to brighten up just the green channel if you have HSL type sliders in your software package. Might make the knocker pop a little off the wood. |

Ah, butterfly, them little critters can be tricky. Nice capture getting two in one shot. Nice sharpness and detail and I don't see noise from the high ISO. Your post processing really paid off, softening the background and keeping viewers attention on the critters. I think Cindys adjustment work well. |

I luv "old" mechanical watches, they have so much character and history. I too had never heard of the Composite mode you used, pretty cool. Would be a big time saver for astrophotography. Good composition, I like that you got close enough to show the depth of the embossed numbers. I see what Tom is saying but removing that dial is removing part of the story, I think the issue is the brightness of it. Maybe you could blend in a complementary texture that could tone those highlites. Luv the color as well, right out of a Tron movie. |

Nice flower capture Cindy. It's nice to see a vertical format for a floral image; nice color and your treatment of the background is perfect. I don't know if the conditions allowed for (lighting, etc) but a f8 might have brought some out some additional sharpness on those back blooms. I agree with Nelson, a tighter crop could work as well. |

Nice capture, I agree that monchrome works for this image. These shells have such interesting textures, if you wanted more contrast maybe adjust just the Blacks slider. Or put two copies in layers and experiment with Blend Modes. |

Yes, Nelson, that is black plexiglass. Nice stuff but it does attract the dust haha |
