57 Apr 25 Comment Nice capture, Tom. I can almost feel that humid, jungle effect of the Oregon deep woods. Nice DOF, the f9 works well giving some detail to the background, handy to have the tripod for long exposure. Nice range of greens with good color contrast. Apr 28th

57 Apr 25 Comment Nice capture and great hand held in what appears to be in low light. I like the motion/rotation from the left-side red leaves, around the top and over to the right side. What is it they call that, the Fibonacci effect, the golden ratio, something like. Brings the viewer in and makes for a pleasant image to view. Apr 28th
57 Apr 25 Comment Nice composition. The major diagonal going from bottom left to top right sets the tone for a strong point of interest, and the twist and turns add to the story. As others have said, sharpness, contrast and color are all good. Cindys edit is a good idea and does remove the distraction. Apr 28th
