Well done industrial closeup. Strong composition with nice even lighting. Focus stacking work well for this shot goes along with providing the detail and precision the story promotes. I really like that your placement shows the internal threads of the blocks, which is a detail that be easly overlooked. |

Nice story of the end of the growing cycle. I like that you have captured the flower on its way out without too much brown and death. As Mary and Cindy mention, I agree that the background, with all of its white is distracting. The human eye is attracted to lighter shades, especially white. Some darkening, and maybe a light blur to the background could make you main flower stand out. And maybe with a HSL filter, you could brighten the reds/pinks of the main flower to make it more prominent. |

Hope you feel better soon. Congrats on using what's around you to create an interesting shot. I like the contrast between the wood and scratchy texture. The curved diagonal line creates a strong point of interest. I like your delving into the world of Blend Modes for your creative post-processing. |

Nice macro capture with your iPhone. The glow gives it a dreamy affect and for sure the yellow "stamens" are angel wings in motion. The light vignette works well for this shot. And the diagonal framing makes for a strong composition. Well done. Would look nice as a print hanging over your fireplace. |

Reminds me of a Teddy Bear plant with all the fuzz. I like that you got most of the fuzz and the contrasting dark colors create good interest. Square format works well but can't say that I care for the white vignette; I realize that a dark vignette may be to much but wonder a vignette could be made using the same blue color as the leaves. As Cindy mentions, those hi lights in corners are a little distracting. Good job for hand holding. |
