Nice idea combining the polish stones with more rough big brother. As best I can tell from the small images, I agree that the Option 1 sharper and has less specular highlites. You can have the best of both worlds by using Neo's strong masking tools to mask, then blur out the background. |

Yup, wood and rust, great compositional elements. The Atlas lock for sure is the star of the show. I luv the gray aged wood, and I think there may be more grain/detail in there if you have some 'small/macro' contrast controls. I think NIK has a filter that can make these kind detail extracting contrast adjustments. |

Nice image, I as well luv rusty images. I understand what Tom is saying but in this case, I think the the yellow light with broken lens ( but bulb intact) adds to the story along with the rust, as Jessica indicates. Maybe the up the midtowns on the red lens would help boast its attention. |

Nice iPhone image. Dahlias make such good subjects. Agree with others that the top is distracting; cropping should take care of it. |
