57 Aug 24 Comment Interesting capture and your composition is perfect. I like the moodiness of the dark/shadows. Nice detail and as Tom mentioned, the open leaf on the bottom makes a great leading line. Cindy'd warming touch I think is a good addition. Aug 22nd
57 Aug 24 Comment Nice capture, Tom. There is always so much going on with an Iris bloom and your image almost takes on an abstract quality. The mixture of lines and textures really help hold the viewers interest. Cindys brightness addition works well but seems to lose a little detail in the middle of the photo. Aug 22nd
57 Aug 24 Comment Interesting critter; the bronze color is nice and unusual which really adds to your capture. Noise doesn't look bad on this page (maybe if printed, it might show up). I think your crop is fine, once that right leaf is darkened, the triangle created by those two top leaves adds interest to the image and give the frog more of a sense of place. Aug 22nd
57 Aug 24 Comment Very nice closeup; taking the guitar to a more abstract presentation. I like the play of the vertical strings against the half circles underneath. And the interest between the steel and nylon strings. Well done!! Aug 22nd
57 Aug 24 Comment As everyone has stated, the colors are great and well composed. I think the leaves above the fruit almost act as an arrow pointing down to the fruit. And nice detail and texture on the surface as well. Aug 22nd

95 Aug 24 Comment Nice capture, Carol. I miss these frogs were available closer to home. Maybe in Florida instead of just Costa Rica... ;-) For that one bright white colored bokeh; maybe adding some green might help. Might be less distracting as bright green instead of bright white. Aug 22nd
