Thanks Andrew. This photo was strongly backlit so I hoped to make the drops easier to see but in turn made the spring black (it was actually silver). I think a heavy oil would work if it was clear in color. I think viscosity is the key although I think if the spring were compressed more, making the gaps smaller, that would slow down the drops as well. In your case with the black background, a strong backline would keep those drops bright. |

Nice capture. We were both feeling the water drop thing this month. I luv the idea of the drops on the fishing line. The diagonal lines make for a strong composition and the color adds a lot of warmth and interest. The light edges of the bowl don't bother me too much, you could always paint in darker adjustment, which might be good it you were to print this image. Well done. |

Nice capture, I know that feathers can be tricky to get in focus. Good idea to present on the glass, the reflection adds to composition and interest. It almost looks like you have captured it falling through air, at a slow drift. |

My Dad was a big stamp collector, he would love this shot. I like the mix of colors as well as the various countries of origin. Keeps the viewer well engaged; well done. |

Nice shot Tom. I luv shooting sunflowers; they seem to work from any angle. It's a nice change of pace catching the bloom before it's completely open. As Cindy mentioned, you got those little sharp, nice. I like the background soft, I think it helps keep the viewers eye from drifting away from your subject. |

Thanks Tom. Yes, there is movement but since was using flash, my syc speed could go no higher than 1/160 sec. It was a trade off but maybe I'll try LED lights and vary the speed. |
