I agree with Tom that the story is well presented with the other items in the frame. Image shows that great texturing finish given to fine equipment of that time. For sure, f8 would have given us that increased DOF.		 Jun 18th
57 Jun 23 Comment Luv this shot. Every time I pass the peppers in the grocery store, I think - got to get some photos of those things. Your presentation and composition is great. I like your selection of f stop; the soft fade works well, as does the reflection. Good finishing touch to present in square format, and with that complementing colored border.
Those three green stems, all saluting in the same direction, wonderful.		 Jun 18th
57 Jun 23 Comment Would make a good promo for Bridgestone tires. Good subject for balancing multiple points of interest, glad you put emphasis on the reflection, I may have missed it otherwise. The tire nice and sharp and showcases your attention to detail. My only nit is would have been nice to see the completion of the curved fender at the top of the image but hey, the center of the wheel is the main subject and you nailed it. Jun 18th
57 Jun 23 Comment Beautiful rose with nice color and sharp detail. Good choice to shoot at 300mm so you could get the entire flower in focus. I like the well defined edges of the petals in the middle of the bloom. Jun 18th
57 Jun 23 Comment Luv that rusty stuff. Nice detail in the rust and lock. All the elements combine to tell a story, a mystery, what is behind this locked gate? My only comment is to possibly crop off some of the bottom to keep the visitors vision centered on the lock. Jun 18th
57 Jun 23 Comment Beautiful capture, Jessica and good use of camera in your phone. The color and DOF add to the complexity of the Iris. I agree with Tom, white background works well. The nit is losing the bit of petal on the right side. Well done. Jun 18th
