Yup, the lines and angles are interesting. The monochrome works well, and would also crop in closer, Those angle plates at the footing deserve a closer look. I pulled it into Topaz Studio, cropped and added a filter.

Cool rusty subject Tom, and the mold adds even more texture. As Jessica mentioned, maybe a little more contrast would be nice. If your software a selection that allows for adjustment of the Small, Medium, and Large contrasts; adding in some small or micro contrast could lift some of the rust and mold bringing out that depth Jessica mentioned. |

Ah, cats and dogs, never pose when you have a camera in hand. I like the fur texture, glad that the two puppies are not the same colors. As Cindy mentioned, an eye or two would be great. |

Nice subject matter Nelson. As the Japanese say, grouping items in odd numbers improves viewer interest. It looks like a type of orange to me, and probably at the end of its growing season. I might try selectively boosting the orange hue on the first three oranges that are sharper than two in back, and maybe add just a little midtone brightness to the first orange. A vignette would darken the corners and reduction distractions. |

Very nice image; beautiful colors and good focus. As mentioned, the water drops add additional interest without being overwhelming. I think shooting straight down on the flower helps a lot in taking away that floating feeling. Now, if it floats, it's a good thing. <;-) |

Nice image Jessica; I like succulents as well. Had many in garden when we lived further south, here in northern Wisconsin, not so much. Nice colors and you got the center grouping sharp. Good for a iPhone shot; my phone defaults to f 1.8 which doesn't give good DOF. Yeah, that background, mmm, maybe you could add in some blur to reduce it's impact. |

Thanks ladies. I did indeed crop, probably to much. Was worried that too much reflection would take away from the . Here's another version with full reflection as captured, and the sides cropped in a little to make it more vertical.
