Nice image and composition; showing the motion really makes the story, right. The spinning disk is what is was all about. I might try toning down the highlights on top of the cartridge and brightening the front so there is more separation from the record. |

Got to luv that rusty stuff. There is a lot to work with here, and I agree with the consensus of cropping in closer, as in Toms image. Also, adding clarity and/or micro contrast adjustments could bring out nice detail in the rust. |

Interesting view of a classic vehicle, don't always see the motor components. I like your idea of using the solarizing filter, gives it a grittiness that works for that antique look. I agree with Andrew that additional rotation would help the viewer understand the image. |

Nice capture Andrew. It's great to have the focus stacking ability built in to the camera. For the Rose, having all of the flower in focus is a strong presentation. Agree with Cindys suggestions. |

Nice idea Andrew. It's a different view but one that does create interest for the viewer. As others mentioned, toning down the hot spots would help. |

Terrific image Cindy. Great depth of field for f8, and as others have said the black background is perfect for this image. It really jumps out of the frame. Also the slight diagonal angle of the flower really helps bring the viewer into the image. Square format and complimentary border are nice touches. |

Nice image Jessica. I like succulents, there is something about them...... maybe it is the symmetry. Good idea to shot straight down on the plant, that radiating out helps bring the eye to the center. I torn about the cropping, I understand what the others are saying about showing the whole plant. But to keep the center of the plant the actual subject, you have to come in close. MMMmm Decision, decisions, maybe to could try a blur vignette around those outer leaves. It may soften the impact of the leaves being cut off by keeping the viewers eye on the center. |

I like it. It is a softer more impressionistic image. I was not totally satisfied with the background, still seemed too noisy. But you should have seen the original haha. |
