57 Oct 22 Comment Seems so long ago..... film, processing, waiting. I bet Kodak wishes they had those days back. Oct 18th
57 Oct 22 Comment Ah, rusty things are fun to photograph. I agree the background but I know you didn't much choice. If your software allows you to make 'micro' contrast adjustments; adjusting the low, medium, and high contrast independently may bring out some depth. Also, some tweaking of the color sliders; I see reds, oranges, yellow. Adjusting color sliders (dodge/burn) may bring more depth and contrast to the subject helping to separate it from the background. Oct 18th
57 Oct 22 Comment The Eyes have it; makes the image. As Cindy says, it tells a story that the family will enjoy decades from now. The vignette Cindy adds does pull the viewer into the photo more. Oct 18th
57 Oct 22 Comment Good idea doing this image in monochrome. Every time I see Alliums in a garden I take a shot. Many blooms and a lot of texture. I understand the comments about being busy; I think maybe there is so much white, the eye does not where to go. A vignette would work, or maybe making a high contrast image would be interesting.

57 Oct 22 Comment Nice image with a good background treatment. You got nice details in the Whites without blowing them out. I like Tom's flip also. Oct 18th
57 Oct 22 Comment Nice shot Jessica. I agree the fine textures of the condensation really add an important detail to the shot. Ah, I just saw the original pop up on the screen, hmmm, I'm torn now between the full image and the crop. I like the red and purple together in the image but then again, I like the condensation. Soooo, maybe this could end up being two different images: one zeroing in the colors and condensation, and the other the full image with something done to the background. Like black, as mentioned, or blending in some textures. Oct 18th
57 Oct 22 Reply Thanks Cindy, the consensus is on cropping more. It's good to get another set of eyes on an image. Oct 18th
57 Oct 22 Reply Thanks Nelson, I knew it was not a poisonious and it was cool morning, which slowed down his movement. Oct 18th
57 Oct 22 Reply Thanks Tom Oct 18th
