Thanks Jessica; I like your idea of the square format. For sure it would keep things centered. |

Nice subject; goes right along with rusty vehicles in telling a story for your viewer. Luminar did well on this image, I like the detail and texture in the wood. The spider well makes for a stronger composition as well. |

Nice subject. Metal can be a fun subject, a rusty truck or old tools. Aged brass just seems to be in a class by itself; maybe it because we don't see brass to much these days. I like the combination of curved and straight lines, adds a lot of interest to the shot. |

NIce portrait. Mihi has a nice, natural smile. Your processing works, although brightening up the eyes a bit as Cindy did, adds to the smile. The arms are ok to me, they frame the face. Maybe a vignette to darken the corners would help keep the viewer focused on the beautiful face. |

Pencil eraser, I would never guessed. Interesting subject and nice job on processing and changing the background. My only comment might be in use a larger f stop to give you more depth of field. I know the iPhone has great cameras built in, not sure how much control they allow for changing f stop. On my iPhone 7 I can't change it unless I use third party software. |

I add to the chorus of those liking the rusty things, esp. old vehicles. Nice processing, it's easy to go overboard on the rust. I like the trifecta of the turn-signal, lettering, and the hood handle. Really pulls the viewer into the image. Agree with Chuck, would make a nice print. |

Very nice image, great for phone image. I like the vertical crop, and as already mentioned the veins give the image nice lines and interest. Water drops are nice, they seem to add a sense of movement to the image. The flip is a good idea, I guess sense most people read from left to right it would pull the viewer right into the image. |

Thanks Andrew. It was a morning shot, later than I wanted but still some nice light. I was so concerned about movement due to the breeze that others considerations fell to the wayside. In years past I would never have used such a high ISO but todays software does a good job reducing noise. I use ON1 RAW, it's No Noise function is built in and easy to use. |

Thanks Cindy. I like your idea about darkening the background. Now that time has passed, I can see that the brighter background is a little distracting. |

Thanks Tom, agreed, moving in tighter was probably a stronger image. |

Thanks Nelson, I debated among too crop and where. It's a large bloom and I was concerned that pulling back would no longer make it a close-up. Where to crop sometimes can be the biggest decision. |

Very nice, Carol. Others have said it well. It is a magical shot that really does create a emotion and brings a smile. I agree with Tom, it is wall-worthy. Speaking of the NIK software, are you using the current versions? I have the really old versions back when Google had it (and before). Have been wondering whether the new DXO versions might be a worthy upgrade. |
