Thanks Tom, your comment sights more of my original intent and I like the way you phrase it... nature story, that's it exactly. If I were going to use this image in a judged competition, I would use Stuarts crop because I think a judge would share his interpretation. |

Nice image Andrew. It's good to have your interesting story line to support the image. I like the angle you have for the anvil, and it's color makes a nice contrast. The stacking worked out well, I'm wondering if an image shot at f8 could have given you even more depth, although I understand that have darkened the image. |

Fungi are great subject matter, nice that you were able to capture one with nice color. I like the square format for this image, keeps the viewer centered. I might be tempted to crop the top down a little so there is less soft area above your main subject. |

Hi Nelson, I like the monochrome rendition and the flare idea. I wonder if you could get some additional detail in the buds by reducing the hi lights. I know the Hilight slider I have in Capture One v12 is good, your version may even have more control. Also would be tempted to eliminate that lower bud so the viewer can stay focused on the tall one. |

Beautiful portrait, Cindy. Great detail in the feathers, I think being able to use an ISO of 100 was really helpful in getting that detail. I like that the swans head, neck and back feathers all form a nice diagonal which adds strength and interest to the image. |

Hi Jessica, I like this shot. Very summer, I can almost taste it now. The texture of the dried fruit adds texture and attracts my eye. The nice thing about our phone camera is we always have them for those spontaneous moments like this. My only nit might be to remove the black straw, its a bit distracting. |

Thanks Stuart, I like your changes. I considered something like this but was afraid to crop more than I already had. Looks like Topaz Denoise took care of the additional noise that may have come from that crop. |
