57 Jan 22 Comment Luv this image. Hibiscus have such nice flowing lines. It looks like the hi lighted areas on the petals have some yellow in them. You might be able to make the image pop even more by using your yellow slider to boast that color, esp. in the hi lights. Jan 17th
57 Jan 22 Comment Nice capture Nelson, good holiday image. I agree, the background change really works well. Good detail and sharpness for f2.0. I like that you brighten up his eyes - gives him more personality. Looks like there is a blue cast on most the white areas (beard, etc) of Santa. Would strengthen the composition getting rid of that excess blue. Jan 17th
57 Jan 22 Comment Nice image Cindy. It's strong image that tells more of a story in it's 'fading' stance and blends well with black background. Nice detail and contrast. I might tend toward cropping a little to shorten that stem. Jan 17th
57 Jan 22 Comment Cool find and great subject. The textures of the wood handle and the rust complement each other well. I agree about the background; its tough when your with a group and other people are moving your subject around. If you could darken that white fence, or change its color, that would make it less distracting. Jan 17th
57 Jan 22 Reply Thanks Andrew. I like your organic, soils view. It does kind of take on a dried river bed look. I'm going to try rotating to see if that also helps relive the right corner distraction. Jan 17th
57 Jan 22 Reply Thanks Jessica, I agree about that right corner. I did crop to get to this point and darken but its not quite enough. Maybe if I rotate as per Andrews suggestion, that might work. Jan 17th
