I agree with Jessica that you went for it and got good results. These never stand still for me either. It's amazing what Topaz AI and other noise reduction apps can do now. Wasn't that long ago that shooting at ISO 2500 would have given an image you might not wanted share. It may not be 'tack sharp' but it's pretty darn good and shows nice detail. Yeah that white flower on the right can be distracting but a tight crop still gives a white distraction that may pull a viewers eye off the page and away from your main subject. Sounds like you may have other Topaz products, or NIK might do it, to try adding texture to the background using blend modes, that might tone down the whites. |

Mmm Pizza. Great idea, Mary. Stone pizza ovens just seem to add charm and added taste to main coarse. It's the flame for sure. I understand Jessicas comment to focus attention with a crop but I would leave it as is. The curved stone work really helps bring the viewer into the flame. I like your post-production work; always appreciate those that work magic with Curve adjustment. |

Nice capture, Nelson. Glad he stayed still long enough for your stacking burst. How many images were combined to make this shot? Like the white border as well. Yeah, a little more breathing room at the top would be nice but I understand in the field you don't always have that option. |

Nice capture. It's sharp and he looks like he's really to hit the road. Nice lighting. Maybe a little more crop to reduce some of the foreground. |

Nice capture, Carol. It's one of those 'soft' images that really works. It's more about the composition than the technical. Saying that, I agree, f5.6 would make it hard to get the foreground and the verticals in the center all in focus. Mmm, ring-flash, I've had my eye on that Nissin unit, ah, more gear.... yeah! |
