Thanks Carol. This was a fun coin to build a story around. Thanks for the feedback on the darkness. |

Another nice flower shot Denise. Great patience for beating the wind. Very nice composition. I luv the inner view, the three front petals make nice leading lines for peeking inside. I also like the diagonal tilt of the bloom, makes for a more interesting composition. |

Bird of Paradise are such great subject matter; hard to walk by without taking a few shots. So it sounds like you maybe were hand holding this and the ISO was pretty high (3200). Not not sure where to look on this image, the blues look the sharpest. The yellow/orangeish 'ears' still have a lot of shiny hotspots, was this taken indoors? If those whites are not blown out, maybe bring down the highlights a little more. Maybe even tighten the vignette more, centered around what you want the main focal point to be. |

Nice shot, Jennifer. Good color and the texture shows up well. Don't know if this was hand-held but a lower ISO would lower the noise and improve the sharpness. If your editing software has some content-aware erasing type tools, it might help to remove/reduce some of those white splotches in the lower right corner. Which would help to keep the viewers eye from drifting toward 'white' things. |

Nice concept and good presentation. A corkscrew never looked so good. Good lighting considering all the reflective surfaces. The green ruberband is a nice touch. Well done. |

Very nice Carol, it's refreshing to look at. Good job on photographing a reflective surface - always a tricky thing. The only thing I might wish for is a little more DOF, so that orange slice is more in focus. PS I did send in a photo for this month, don't know why it didn't make to you. |
