Ah, old cars! I too luv them and like photographing them. Really like your tight in crop of the grill. Carries the image into the realm of abstract art. And monochrome is perfect as well. I often have problems in these situations with specular highlights popping up on all this shiny surfaces, so maybe the setting you used helped control that. Nice capture.
I slipping in a comment here on the last day, so I can get into practice for group participation. |

As others mentioned, love the colors. To me, a little extra brightness would make it jump off the page. I've seen these trees and from a distance they look so surreal.
I slipping in a last minute comment just to get myself in the groove for participating next month. |

Hi Nadia
I'm squeezing in a comment here at the end of the month to get myself in the groove for next month, also being a newly to the group. I like the image; I'm a fan of black backgrounds as well. I think the way it projects from the background gives it a sense of motion. I agree that the bottom 'leaf' would add more if it were as sharp as the rest of the plant but then again, DOF with Macro it one of my biggest challenges. |

Hi Bill, admire folks who can get these great bug shots. As others mentioned, its great that you captured this fella in mid-munch. Like that ed antenna, and the softness doesn't bother me; it seems with fuzzy insects, it hard to get that sharp look. |

Just thought I'd squeeze in on the last day to get myself in sync with the group. Luv the colors of this leaf. Nice detail and contrast. I find myself drawn to shooting leaves as well. |
