I did think of keeping the little girl, given the difficulty of removal. But since it is in a holy place, while the girl looks playing...so I feel that she should be removed too to match the whole atmosphere of the scene. 2 cents. |

This is a successful black and white conversion. The clean-up and the crop contribute to a nice finish. Impressive.
The only thing I might try further is to reduce the number of people. It is not easy... :-) I might only keep the man and the woman....
I took the challenge to give it a try...Just to demo the thoughts, did it in a fast manner.
Cheers.

The filter effect is really creative and impressive. Nice.
The only thing I might try further is to move (or remove) the stone in the middle.
Cheers. |

In this example, I removed the lines. I cleaned up the trees around the chapel as well.
The white wall is catching eyes, so I darkened it a bit.
I added a fog effect... :-) hopefully to add on the mood, but I am not sure on this part.
Cheers. |

Hi Jason, Can I assume that a moon series is starting... :-) Nice picture with wonderful color and peaceful mood.
I am interested in your website, and have registered. But not sure how to use it. Maybe you should give us a short introduction, in particular for the color panel...How to leverage it?
Removing the line is very important, as when that is removed, the tree becomes the leading line, pointing to the moon.
For removing the line, it is super easy. Simply use the spot healing brush tool. Click on the starting point, then with Shift pressed, click on the end point of the line. Since line might not be straight enough, you may do it in a multiple segments. |

Hi Abdo, nice moment and color. And it is a wonderful place.
The leading lines are leading to different directions. So I feel that the picture is not that concentrated. I might just kept the left half of the picture. That might be just a personal preference. And I have to admit that my crop is a common crop and a bit boring... :-) |

Great capture. I like the moment captured, the composition, and the color. Even the fence seems working here too.
Very minor stuff, the white lines as well the white areas in at the edge (upper and the right side) are a bit bright. I might darken them a bit... |

Hi Brenda, nice capture and perfect editing. I like the moment captured and the light pattern nicely created. It must not be easy for a person to hold still for 8 sec, I guess. I like the color contrast too.
I would include the environment into a light painting photo, as it is part of the art creation, otherwise, it would become just a clipart with light and shadow. That said, I would like to keep the grass, and I might lighten the other area of the ground a little (little is a key for any adjustment) more, and maybe same to the tree or even the sky. I would try to keep the stars too (not sure on this part, but will try). When post-processing is not easy to lighten the environment as a result of more noise, I would take the picture earlier in time when more natural light is available. Otherwise, I would take two pictures since on a tripod, one with the environment only on a longer exposure, and blend them together.
When the environment is included, I would go for the current crop, otherwise, I will take Jason's crop.
Cheers for another wonderful picture.
