Ed,
Great image and beautifully converted to monochrome-just perfect! My suggestion is to print it large; it would make a fantastic picture to hang on the wall. Thanks for sharing. |

Great capture and excellent processing! The bird is sharp, and the out-of-focus background makes it stand out beautifully. My only suggestion is to try different crops to see what works best. |

Welcome to the group, Jo!
A great subject to photograph, Brenda has made important changes and her black and white conversion is excellent. The only thing I would add is that it's always helpful to post the original photo alongside the processed version. This allows for a better understanding of the differences and more accurate feedback.

This is great! I usually don't prefer oversaturated photos, but in this image, it works really well. My only suggestion would be to try a slightly tighter crop. However, the current version is also very good. |

Thank you Ed,
The sky has not been altered; the original color is exactly as the camera captured it. It appears smooth, possibly due to distant buildings beyond the trees. (In the processed black-and-white version, I have removed the buildings.) |
