Two things,
Why change the color to green?
Also, green version ball looks solid colors, little more transparent may look good.
Attached quick edit, more work required. |

This version looks good, black background adds more impact to the portrait. |

Ed,
From RAW file first Processed in LR & PS, from there I opened in 2 different programs and treated separately. What is done in each is first converted in Monochrome and retained some parts in color.
Image 1: Tonality CK - applied Preset - Dramatic / Bleached Drama.
Image 2: Silver Efax Pro- applied Selective Adjustment in some area to bring out some color near Right Side of image.

Robert,
This is good, I have not tried focus stacking, looking at your work it encourages to do so, will try.
Appreciate your work a lot. |

James,
Very well captured, good dog portrait, changing background works well, some more work required, marked with arrow in attached photo. |

Jim,
This is good, very different.
Loved the one with white background.
I would stop at the Original 2, just a white background, by adding natural blue sky, I think the very different kind of photo turned into just a good image.

Interesting, I would not compare with Ed's image, both have similar prop but different interpretations.
Now about posted image, light coming from the right and from the left, I would use from the right only, also add some detail in the sleeve of the robe.

Thanks Robert,
Agree, I will try differently, will post if it turns out better.
Also, just a tight crop of the horse and water stream may look good, will try. |
