This picture is about a lone tourist and massive structure with its curved design, I have another image from the same visit focusing only on Vertical column of light and a group of tourist, look how massive it is in comparison to the group of tourist. |

Much improved over original OOC and posted. Files like this are good to improve postprocessing skills. |

Terry,
Look at the attached screen shot of PS. what I mean is create 2 layers and control separately for density and for color filters. |

Liked it, Color version looks better than mono.
This is actually a Mono subject.
Due to strong yellow on the wall and the skin tone of the subject, direct conversion to mono may not look good, try controlling background colors separately, mono will look better then color. Attached quick edit, more work is required. |

Jim,
This is good, liked it. Post process is good, blurred background helps, What was the "f stop" ? Opening by one extra stop may give 3D effect or try darkening background little more, this may give extra pop. |

Brenda,
This is a good capture, I have seen owls only in zoo never in a natural environment, your post process is good and I have no suggestion. Thanks for sharing Matt K's video, interesting, sure will try.

Robert,
The original image is well exposed and I don't see any need to process it, the only suggestion I have is to crop and remove trees from the left side of the image, attached quick edit. |

Robert,
Thanks for your views and suggestion with higher contrast, I tried various versions of darkness and contract before posting the final, one is almost like yours, more dark but less in contrast to yours. |

Problem is, this website, when we upload original it is actually a very small size jpeg file, in reality it is not and it does not represent original 100%, hope I am making sense? For that reason, I uploaded OOC.

James,
Appreciate your views. As suggested, attached corrected Image.
About the color tone of the original file, if you have visited this place, then you know that this is a massive structure entirely painted in white, the main source of light is outside sunlight filtering in, getting a correct exposure (Unless bracketed) is not easy and also getting perfect color temperature.
This is a very interesting file to play with on a lazy day over a glass of wine ðŸ˜Å
