Thanks Dave, I thought you picked up Fish from other images and cloned, if not then how did you manage to look fish much sharper and focused? Curious to know. |

Thanks Dave,
I will not go for that much crop, oval shape of concrete is part of the subject, the picture looks good with the tight crop as suggested in your image as it is but removing that oval shape makes it into just another good photo.
Just a little crop from left and keeping the concrete as suggested by Jason and Brenda can improve, I have attached an image in replay to Brenda, pls look.
Also, agree with your suggestion of some more cleaning yes, that can improve this image a lot. |

Thanks Brenda,
Cropping from the left will position the monk on 2/3 ratio, may be a good idea or may not. I am not sure, Attached side by side comparison, one as it is and the other with a little crop as suggested, both looks good to me.

Hi Jason,
Just visited your photo blog, some great images there, thanks for sharing web link.
About this image, nice picture, but I see multiple interesting subjects in one image and that is disturbing to me and also lots of sky space is covered in dark cloud.
1. Crop this image in 16:9 ratio and try.
2. Just the road in 1x1 ratio
3. Only lake area.

Alan, hope you are doing well and can play golf soon. This image is well exposed, but as others mentioned lakes subject matter, some player on the field or a maybe different angle to make it a just a cool landscape, try taking more pictures if you visit again, you will come up with a situation which can make an interesting picture. |

As mentioned by Dave, this is a well-known subject and a viewing angle, now that makes it more challenging subject and to make it interesting is not easy. Your treatment of image from taking to the post-processing is well done and makes it very attractive, this one has poster quality, Print it and put it on the wall, will be appreciated.
I liked it very much
